FoodMarble fully respects your right to privacy, and will not collect any personal information about you on this website without your clear permission. Any personal information which you volunteer to FoodMarble will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Acts, 1988 & 2003 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.


Collection and use of personal information

FoodMarble does not collect any personal data about you on this website, apart from information which you volunteer (for example by subscribing for the FoodMarble mailing list or entering your shipping address). Any information which you provide in this way is not made available to any third parties, and is used by FoodMarble only in line with the purpose for which you provided it. For example, if you make a purchase or preorder, we will contact you on the email address you supplied to update you on the status of your order. Your personal data may also be anonymized and used for statistical purposes.

If you make a purchase or pre-order, we may also transfer your name and address to a third-party logistics company, for the purpose of delivering your order.

Your personal data is held on secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services, in the European Union. When you make a purchase or pre-order, it will also be stored on the servers of Stripe, our payment processor. The location of Stripe's servers may vary and may be outside the European Union. All data sent or received from our servers is transferred using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts the data in transit. However, the nature of the Internet is such that we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via the Internet. No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. However, we will take all reasonable steps (including appropriate technical and organizational measures) to protect your personal data.


Data Retention

FoodMarble will retain your data for a period of up to seven years after the last transaction, for tax purposes and to provide appropriate product and customer support. After this time, your data will be deleted. Only employees who need to have access to your data in order to fulfil our contract with you will be granted access. These employees are subject to a confidentiality agreement.
